National Call for Artists: ViewPoint 52

The Cincinnati Art Club announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, September 11-24, 2020 at Art Design Consultants in Cincinnati, Ohio. $3,000 first place, $1,000 second place, $750 third place, gallery contract and more. Juror: Patrick Lee. Open to all artists 18 years of age and older. Paintings and drawings of all media as well as sculpture. Only totally original artwork conceived and executed by the artist after January 1, 2017 will be accepted. All artwork must be for sale. Entrants are eligible for one award only. Excluded media includes photography, crafts, fiber, computer generated art, painting on photos and jewelry. Lori Cozen-Geller grew up in Los Angeles, California, and received a BA from the University of Southern California. She has maintained an active exhibition schedule since 2004 and works from a studio in Venice, CA.

Cozen-Geller’s geometric wall sculptures at Oeno Gallery are smooth surfaced and glossy or matte. Her dramatic and structurally precise forms in wood are coated in eye-popping, solid colours or rendered in polished stainless steel. Through a post-minimalist aesthetic, the artist explores the qualities of emotion in material form.

Experience Skip Hartzell's Dogs at Art Palm Beach January 16-20, 2019

Renowned "Dog Artist" Skip Hartzell will be exhibiting at Art Palm Beach Booth 510, January 16-20, 2019. The artist is showcasing his beloved canine charcoal drawings, oil paintings, works on paper and four-legged sculptures for both art lovers AND dog lovers to enjoy at the 22nd Edition of Art Palm Beach during Palm Beach Art Week.


Collectors and art aficionados will take joy in Hartzell's exhibition at the 22nd Edition of Art Palm Beach at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, the premier winter art fair in South Florida. Art lovers and connoisseurs in Palm Beach will have an opportunity to experience and purchase Hartzell's work.


The unique exhibition pays special homage to the liveliness, lovability, loyalty and natural beauty of canines. The artist creates large paintings, sculptures and drawings that capture the essence of "dog", all of the work is rich with intricacies of color and technique. His painterly expression captures each dog's own personality with beautiful textures, line and brush strokes using mixed media to bring each dog to life.


Fair goers and attendees will take pleasure in Skip Hartzell's Dogs at Art Palm Beach, the premier art fair in South Florida during the height of the winter season where guests will experience Hartzell's beloved canine paintings, sculptures, works on paper, and unique wall installations — the artist's booth will be crawling with canine-based works of art.
